HIEROPHANY – Tenebrario, DigiCD

Emerging from the fierce and murky depths of Mexico, HIEROPHANY stands as a monument to hardline satanic devotion and sonic malevolence. Birthed in 2006 by mastermind IkanunnaBg, the entity evolved from a solitary ritual into a formidable live force, carving a path of darkness with such releases as Los Tres Mundos, Altalith, and the critically acclaimed Via Pvrgativa. Journalists have hailed the project’s output as "chameleonic and powerful," praising its ability to weave "fearsome black/death brutality" with an atmosphere that is "charismatic and possessed," manifesting a sound that is as technically proficient as it is spiritually poisonous.

HIEROPHANY is the new name of the creative endeavors of musicians from the well-known Mexican black metal band BLACK HATE (the band has changed their name earlier this year for creative reasons). Their debut album under this moniker was mixed and mastered by Simon Da Silva at The Empty Hall Studio. The music was recorded and composted between 2022 & 2025 and the cover artwork was crafted by Denis Forkas.

‘Tenebrario’ is cast from the unending waves of Ain. This piece is a hymn, a chant of Death and Shadow. As the candles dim at the altar of God, the presence of the Apostate grows and envelops the Flesh of Humanity. To build a Temple, to sacrifice a lamb. To understand the pulsating flesh and its morality. Such is the aim of the poetry contained within. 2025 marks a new dawn for Hierophant ushering in a sound that is fierce, malevolent, dark and atmospheric.

Tenebrario will be released on December 12th, 2025 via Serpent Sun Records.
In 2024 the band released another album under Underground Kvlt Records, sub label of Odium Records entitled “Via Pvrgativa: Qui Spiritu Diaboli Aguntur Hi Filii Satanae Sunt”.

2025 marks a new dawn for Hierophany ushering in a sound that is fierce, malevolent, dark and atmospheric - "Tenebrario" will be released by Serpent Sun Records later this year.
